Arizona Opera Apprentice Open House

Socialize with our past, present, and some future apprentices and view some of their projects from the last two seasons!

As the state’s only professional opera company, Arizona Opera provides a unique opportunity for the next generation of theater technicians to work state-wide in premier venues. Founded during the 2015/16 season through the generosity of Dr. Paul Symchych, the Production Apprentice Program gives apprentices the opportunity to engage in all aspects of what it takes to produce quality performances: lighting design, projections, props, costumes, wigs and makeup, and stage management.
