Auditions for 2027/28 Marion Roose Pullin Arizona Opera Studio Artists

For singers, pianists, and stage directors
 

Application Deadline: Thursday October 1, 2026

 

This season, we will hold auditions in:

  • New York, NY on November 18-20, 2026
  • Phoenix, AZ on December 7, 2026

 

If you are granted a live audition, you will be notified via YAP Tracker no later than 3 weeks before your scheduled audition.

Video Selection Requirements

PIANISTS: 2 contrasting video recordings of performances, coachings or rehearsals with singers or playing a rehearsal with conductor.

SINGERS: Video recording of two operatic arias made within twelve months of the application deadline.

ASSISTANT STAGE DIRECTORS: 1 video recording of a staged scene from an opera or musical; 1 video recording dramatically coaching an aria with a singer.

Number of selections required: 2.
