Arizona Opera Cast Members & Creatives

Delaney Welch is a Phoenix based designer who has worked in the theatre industry for 12 years. She has worked in close collaboration with the North Valley Arts Academy (NVAA) to give young artists hands-on experience working in the art of technical theatre. Her credits with NVAA range from Shakespeare's Macbeth, and Peter and the Starcatcher, to pop-culture hits like Chicago: Teen Edition, The Addams Family, and Hadestown: Teen Edition, which went on to win Best Musical at the ASU Gammage Arizona High School Musical Theatre Awards. Additional credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Paradise Community College) and Witch (Theatre Artists Studio). When she isn’t designing Welch also works as a wardrobe dresser. She has worked on many Arizona Opera productions including Madame Butterfly, La Boheme, Don Giovanni, Romeo and Juliette, The Barber of Seville, and The Magic Flute. Other productions with wardrobe roles include Something Rotten, An American in Paris (Phoenix Theatre) and Anastasia (American Theater Guild).
