OperaCon RED

Celebrate innovation with OperaCon RED! This annual festival explores the ever-evolving, operatic canon while celebrating the cultures, music, and stories that embody Arizona Opera RED. Delve into the rhythms of tango and jazz through this series, featuring live performances, interactive demonstrations, film screenings, lectures, discussions, and more.

Every season, Arizona Opera presents over 50 lectures for opera lovers of all ages. Through production previews, pre-show presentations, and special series', learn about how opera--in all of its forms--connects to the wider world around you.

Brown Bag Lunch

Once a month, Arizona Opera offers a free recital at the opera center. Bring your friends, bring your lunch, and sample what Arizona Opera has to offer!

Pre-performance Lectures

Get more out of your opera experience! Learn about our stories worth singing by attending a free, pre-opera lecture. Arrive one hour before curtain in both Phoenix and Tucson to learn about the show you are about to see!

Talk Backs

Your opera experience doesn’t have to end when the curtain comes down. After the performance, move to the front of the theater to talk with the cast and creative team of each production. Come with questions!
