Hansel & Gretel Family Day

Opera Family Day in Phoenix
Saturday, December 16, 2017 - 11:00am (Phoenix)

Join Arizona Opera for holiday and family fun in Phoenix. This is a great way to explore opera and make family memories that will last a lifetime. This event features a live performance of the classic opera Hansel and Gretel (adapted for children), gingerbread house construction, games, and more.

Limited parking is available at the Arizona Opera Center, and additional parking is available on 1st Ave (behind the Opera Center), at the Flinn Foundation (directly north of the Opera Center), or across the street at the Phoenix Art Museum.

Seating for the performance is general admission. Floor seating at the front will be available for all children to insure the best view of the performance. Doors open to the Arizona Opera Black Box Theater at 10:40am.

*This event is currently SOLD OUT: If you will not be using your tickets—or will not be using the full amount requested—please promptly respond to this email to make room for other patrons.

*GINGERBREAD COOKIE COMPETITION: Bring your own gingerbread house creation to Arizona Opera! Winners receive great prizes including memberships to family friendly arts organizations!
