From the Page to the Stage Costume and Dragon Demonstration

Kathleen Trott, Arizona Opera's Costume Shop Manager, will demonstrate the fantastic wardrobe her team has created for the characters of The Magic Flute.  Inspired by the Steampunk movement, these stunning costumes feature: mythical woodland animals, headpieces, armor, animatronic birds in cages and huge wings for the Queen of the Night.  Doug Provost, Arizona Opera's Director of Production, will demonstrate the inner-workings of the fearsome eyes and "fire breathing" mechanics of this production's full-sized, dragon puppet.
